A three chapter video that illustrates the direction of my work as a performance artist. The first chapter depicts an installation that was performative; I methodically tied a net of roughly 2000 red bags in a semi-public courtyard beside a cafe. The second chapter shows two instances where I have taken an object in a domestic space and spontaneously created movements. The third chapter is a study for a larger site-specific performance to take place at the La Brea Tar Pits in Los Angeles and shows an intuitive reading of a man-made structure in the midst of protected wildlife.

Paper Chickens
Paper Chickens from Janeva Zentz on Vimeo.
A few years ago I collected shredded documents from the Wall Street area and with WATER re-constituted the trash into sculptural paper forms. The paper became part of a larger work that referenced transient shelters. Here is a video of the installation along with some words about my original intentions.
